This harvest was picked pre-Qingming and uses the more mature leaves in production lending to its richer body. On the nose, we get creamy spinach, florals and a hint of herb. In the cup, we taste zucchini, the sweetness of a melon, florality that lingers and a subtle herbal note.
One of the ten most famous teas in China, Lu’an Guapian translates to “melon seed” in which the peculiar shape of the leaves resemble.
