Upholding a tradition of outstanding coffees from the La Plata region of Huila, this gesha selection from producer Emiliano Lame Golondrino earned second place in the western region of the 2025 Copa de Oro competition last fall. Emiliano’s nine hectare farm, Finca El Holguín, is a family-run, diversified enterprise producing tomatoes and dry beans for local sale alongside its award-winning gesha, colombia, and caturra variety coffees. In the cup we taste a delightful balance of ripe cherry and fresh oolong tea florals, as well as gentle orchard fruit and panela in the finish.
